Check out www.biddingfortravel.com and Priceline. You have plenty of time to get a hotel through Priceline. You may bid one week and get nothing, and then get a hotel the following week because rooms have opened up. I just got the Paramount for President's Day weekend for $107 a night. In the past, I have been able to get the Marriott Marquis, Paramount, and Crown Plaza for about that amount.

Earl30..I hear you. I suppose some people don't mind spending $$$$$ on a hotel room. I'd rather spend the money I save on New York plays, concerts, food etc. I can honestly say that your critique of Milford Plaza was a surprise as we never had any of the problems you raised. Some people will find things to complain about. The logistics of the place was the most attactive to us, the room was huge, the view(s) amazing. Peace..
