New Years Eve in Miami
Hi
Can anyone suggest some good places at South Beach for new year's eve?
I am 25 and will be celebrating my first new year's with my husband.
We are looking for something not very pricy but still fancy enough.
Thanks

Sonia, what is your idea of pricey?
Where are you staying?
The best parties will be at Mansion, Setai, Delano, Sky Bar etc.
I'd call the concierge or front desk at your hotel and ask them for help.
You'll have a hard time getting in a club or lounge without paying a huge cover or being on a list.
Celebs usually host parties at the bigger clubs.

Check out
http://www.theopiumgroup.com/
They own Mansion, Prie, and Opium all on South Beach - you can check the prices.
Places on Ocean Drive will probably have some parties that are less expensive and less fancy.
There are usually fireworks over the beach at midnight. I cant remember where they get set off.
Most fabulous club parties really don't get hoppin till after midnight - that includes New Years.
If you are staying in a hotel you should ask your concierge for suggestions.
New Times will probably have New Years party ads. . .

Good Luck.
