New Orleans restaurants-private party

Looking for a restaurant in New Orleans to host a private birthday party for about 100ppl. I am looking for one large room (would be willing to take over the entire restaurant) Any/all types of food. Cost is not an issue. Thanks.

You might check the Palace Cafe. I know they rent their upstairs room for private parties but am not sure what the capacity is. Commander's can seat 80 for a private party but I think that's their maximum.

I second Shari. If cost is not an issue, Antoine's is the way to go.

I respectfully disagree with the choice of Antoine's. It passed its prime decades ago and is only a shell of its former self. There are LOTS of great restaurants in New Orleans...try another one.

neworleansrestaurants.com is a good website to peruse. They have a form to fill out for private party info, but you'll probably get a better deal if you go directly.

I would also not recommend Antoine's. Marginal food and snotty wait staff.

Rene Bistrot at the Renaissance Marquette Hotel would be a great place. The chef is excellent and the restaurant/bar area probably holds about 100-125. It's beautiful.

Depends on what you are looking for.... House of Blues has the Voodoo Garden, Napoleon House has an upstairs room, Le Bistro at Maison de Ville has a wonderful courtyard (but not sure they can accommodate 100). Palace Cafe would be a good option if they have a room large enough. I disagree with Antoine's. Bellaluna would be a wonderful setting for party if they have the room.

Tujacque's has an upstairs hall that can seat a lot of people. But the food and service has been hit and miss the past few trips there.
