New Orleans restaurant recommendations
We are spending a long weekend mid-December in NO. Sunday brunch at Commanders, one lunch at Cochon Butcher and arrival night in our hotel, Windsor Court. Need recommendations for dinner Friday and Saturday night.
We have in the past enjoyed Muriel's, Bayona, Brennans, and Court of 2 Sisters. We like seafood and traditional Creole/Cajun food, if the spice level is dialed down.
Would appreciate your recommendations, staying in the area of the hotel, French Quarter. Any seasonal signtseeing?

I loved the bbq shrimp at Mr. B’s Bistro. It was recommended by a shop owner and we were glad we listened to her. Definitely not what I thought of as “bbq”, and it was delicious. Can’t remember what my husband had but he was happy, too.
Have also liked Gumbo Shop on previous visits.
