New Orleans luxury hotel with pool

What is the nicest luxury hotel with an outdoor pool. Is the weather nice enough in October to swim

Ritz Carlton. You can never predict what the weather will be like in October, sometimes nice enough to swim and sometimes not.

The Le Meridian Hotel is a nice hotel with an outdoor pool and probably not as pricey as the Ritz Carlton. The weather here in October is usually mild but can still get warm.

I would also recommend that you look into the Omni Royal Orleans. It is located right in the heart of the French Quarter on one of the nicest streets in the Quarter (Royal St.) It has a very nice roof top swimming poot with great views of the French Quarter and Mississippi River. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but nice. I like its location better than the Ritz and LeMeridian, although they are also very nice hotels.

If you like bed-and-breakfasts, we adored the House on Bayou Road. Friendly service, outdoor pool and hot tub, the best breakfasts served outside, free parking and a gourmet restaurant, Indigo. (Indigo's chef, I believe, was one of Food & Wine Magazine's Best New Chefs recently.)

The nicest luxury hotel in town with an outdoor pool is the Windsor Court.
