Glad you had a good trip. We've just started preliminary plans for our next trip to New Orleans

I'm glad you were safe. However, your safety doesn't mean the area you were traveling in was safe. Listen to the locals and frequent travelers: NOLA isn't NYC. New Orleans reminds me a bit of San Francisco in that it's very authentic and requires a bit of thought before venturing out at night. I love all 3 cities, but I'm careful (not paranoid at all) when I visit them.
