New Orleans B&B's motels?

Great to hear New Orleans is bringing back travelers. Any news on B&Bs or motels? I have only read of big chain hotels etc. Thinking about a trip down, but would like to stay at the above type places. Any news?

Try the Chimes B&B--http://www.chimesneworleans.com/
We stayed there in pre-Katrina days and loved it.

I'm a TA with a list of options for a visit by DH and I to NO. On it are mostly hotels and one B & B....Creole Gardens Guest House. I've checked it out and reviews are good. You can find it on Yahoo and Tripadvisor and see if it is one you might be interested in. No direct web site that I could see. Seems to be one of those places that you email your reservation request to.

Good luck!!!

Place D'Armes, hands down. Right in the thick of the French Quarter, but very quiet for sleeping. Wonderful rooms, starting at only $69-81 per night

Glad to see votes for the Place d'Armes. We are heading to New Orleans soon and have our reservations there
