New Orleans

I saw on the news that Bourbon Street was practically deserted now. Is the town starting to come back to life yet?

It's definitely less crowded than what one would expect. Probably similar to what travelers are encountering in Orlando, San Francisco, beach areas and any other popular destination. September is not the busiest month even in a "normal" year, however. The crowds were much better over the weekend and October is usually quite busy. Come on down!

Check with weather.com. A cold front is moving through today and tomorrow's high will be 75. Perfect!

Hey John - thanks so much for the information! Here in the North, 75 degrees can be a little cool. How about in Louisiana?

You will be thankful for 75 degrees here.

There was a good crowd milling about Jackson Square this week-end, but nothing close to crowded.

I've never experienced 75F as cool. It'll be great here. If you cold-natured, bring a long-sleeve shirt for daytime and a sweater for night. Remember that you'll be pretty active as you walk so don't layer too much!
