New Napa Valley Restaurant

This new cafe in Napa is worth a stop on your way into the Valley if you are hungry for breakfast or lunch. It is Francis Ford Coppola's new restaurant called MAMMARELLA'S.
My husband and I ate there today and loved every bite. I had the best BLT sandwich of my life along with a cup of Carrot Ginger Soup, served with a cheese flatbread and homemade potato chips. The menu is extensive and reasonable - $3 for a cup of soup or a thick slice of Roman-style pizza, $6 -8 for a sandwich. Other diners were enthusiastic about the daily specials, such as chicken cacciatore with vegetables for $12. The atmosphere is cheerful and friendly.

The only negative is that it is a little hard to find - it's near the Napa Airport in an industrial park at 630 Airpark Rd. Once you find it, you'll probably find yourself going there again and again. Open for breakfast Mon - Fri. til 4PM.

elnap29: Thanks for the heads up!

Not much at their website but it does get good reviews on both Chowhound and Yelp:

Will be stopping there next trip up to Napa!

Thanks again!

Yep - in the industrial park. Look for the address, turn in the driveway, head toward the back and watch for the red awning. We ate there again today, and the food was just as wonderful. The BEST Wedding Soup I've ever had! Word is getting out; it was crowded.

Thanks, elnap29!

I might be able to find it - went to that steak house at Napa Airport a couple of times. Steak wasn't that great but being so close to the runway makes for a fun lunch/dinner!

The house we usually rent in Napa is on that side of town so I will definitely check it out.
