Hello,
We are planning my husband and myself a 14 days trip in New Mexico next April from 15 to 30. We are coming from France and never been there. We like very much hiking and wildlife. We will rent a car and we like to spent at least 2 nights in the same place. Have you got any suggestions?

Two weeks gives you a great amount of time to appreciate the Land of Enchantment! You could easily spend a week in northern New Mexico and one in southern New Mexico.

The only thing about spring is it's pretty windy, and you may still run into snow at the higher elevations. For example, the Valle Grande area near Los Alamos won't be open yet. If you can postpone this trip until September or October, you'll have gorgeous weather.

I have to agree with LeeAnn. Spring is about the worst time of year here. Windy, dusty and for hiking, lots of snow still hanging around.

While Sept and October are THE best months here, late May and early June is also nice.

We can help with planning, and if you are set on coming then, it can be done.
