If you want to do the Hershey Lodge or Hershey Hotel, you probably have to book direct. I saw nothing better than two-star listed for Hershey on bidding for travel.com.

There are a couple of 3* properties shown for Harrisburg South, and either of those would only be 10-15 minutes from Hershey. Don't kow what they bring, but might be worth checking....

There are a couple of sites that have slightly lower rates for the Hotel Hershey, just do a Google search. Are you bringing the kids? If so, I hear the Lodge is more kid-friendly. The Hotel Hershey is a very nice resort, with a FABULOUS spa. We just spent Easter weekend there, and I can't wait to get back to that spa...

The Hotel Hershey is a beautiful luxery resort. Very expensive though. The lodge is also very nice and quite a bit cheaper. The Hotel Hershey is also much closer to the Park and includes admission to both the Hershey museum and Hershey Gardens. The lodge is huge, I found it a little too big. A very long walk from room to lobby.

BOTH are very child friendly, since most everyone staying at either property most likely has children with them. You can't go wrong with either of these properties.

We stayed at the Hershey Lodge, our room was very dated and didn't feel "clean". The Fireside restaurant was very nice there. It seems to me that the lodge is more geared towards families.

We did go to the spa at the Hotel Hershey...it was fabulous! And next time we will definitely stay there (they were booked when we stayed at the lodge for a wedding). I did see plenty of kids there too, just not as many as at the lodge.

have fun! I love Hershey...try to eat at the Hershey Pantry for breakfast if you can.
