Need help with San Jose restaurant

I need assistance in finding a restaurant for a Sunday lunch based on my following wish list: San Jose (close to a freeway would be preferred / not required); seating vs. self serve, kid friendly (I have a 2 year grandson who is not allowed to run around, but we do need a highchair); looking at around $15/ per person; one person prefers large portions (Stanford football player alum); one person prefers small California cuisine portion primarily fish, chicken, or veggies (CAL alum baby boomer). If Mustard’s in Napa Valley was not so far, that would be perfect. Thank you so much in advance for any suggestions. I am never disappointed.

If you do go to Original Joes, make sure it's before June as I think they start a remodling job in early June. Other places I can think of (not sure about lunch pricing) would be Il Fornaio, Tied House, Scotts Seafood & Spiedo. Also you can check out Santana Row. I like Thea Mediterranean and it might work for you: http://www.santanarow.com/dining/?id=143

Oh, if you don't mind venturing to Los Gatos (it is close to Hwy 17), the Wine Cellar is one of my faves in the area: http://www.winecellarlosgatos.com/lunch.html

Thank you for your suggestions. I am definitely going to have to try Thea Mediterranean and the Wine Cellar. I just read their menus and they look great. Actually I go to Los Gatos at least once every few months, so I take this as a must do Thx again Thea Mediterranean will work out for the group.
