Need blue clear skies, where to go?

As I sit here in boring Delaware I am just sick of the haze and smog of mid summer.

Everything looks so grey all the time with all the humidity, haze and smog blanketing the air. I miss the rich blue skies and 100 mile visibilities of spring and fall.

Please report in from a place where TODAY the sky is a rich dark blue, the air is clear with sharp visibility and your eyes are not burning from the smog.

I am heading out there next week!

Northern Canada! It is gorgeous and clear out today, very warm.
A God-send after the severe hail storms and tornadoes that blew through here last week. Thankfully, no injuries, just a lot of damage.

Sorry, I did not read your post thoroughly, We were in Jackson & Yellowstone last week and they were gorgeous. Here in sunny SW Fla, the sky is bright blue, with no haze, but it is HOT too!

Kenai Alaska, and the king salmon are ready to be caught.. I still need to send some to Bonniebroad as a thanks for all her delicious southern recipes!
Also, we've had record setting temps, in the 80's, light breeze equals hardly any mini -pteradactyls(mosquitos).

Most days here in Las Vegas are absolutely beautiful - HOT - but beautiful, deep blue skies. But I must warn you that monsoon season is upon us which means a pretty, sunny day can turn into a raging thunderstorm/flash flood in a very short time.

The beautiful central coast of California; San Luis Obispo County. We have beautiful beaches and wonderful winelands. It is uncrowded and the people are great!

Try New Mexico. Its 89 outside without a cloud in the sky. The humidity is 31% and we have a 7 mile visibility. The wind speed is 10 mph. Try that for a breath of fresh air, Travdis.

Like northern New Mexico, Durango has nice clean air, but in the last few weeks, we've started getting some puffy white clouds here and there in the afternoons. The only haze we may get is from fires in California and Arizona. It's about 84F at my house this evening, and the humidity is in the teens.

San Diego has perfect blue skies with plenty of sunshine. It was about 90 today, but I'm a little bit inland from the coast. We should have clear sunny skies from now until November. Ahhhh
