Need a Hampton Restaurant Suggestion

My office is going to a conference tomorrow and need a dinner spot. We usually pick a nice restaurant (since our conferences are often near the shore, we try for something on the water). Most people like seafood but nice Italian or other restaurants are great, too.

Can anyone recommend something in or very close to Hampton that has entrees in the $15-$25 range? And has a vegetarian choice on the menu?

We are stumped!

If your entree range was $20-$30 any of the below would work.

Blue Talon, Williamsburg. Excellent food at your price point.

Riverwalk, Yorktown. Above your price point. pretty view

Crab Shack in Hampton. At your price point. Decent food, don't know about veg option. Very pretty view.

Fin in Newport News. Above your price point. Excellent seafood.

Vintage Tavern, Suffolk. Excellent food. Above your price point except in the lounger/bar.

Waypoint Grill, Williamsburg. Above your price point. great food, including seafood.

Thanks OBXgirl. I'll pitch 'em to the group. I know Fin doesn't have a veg option. And people were grumbling about going to Williamsburg when I threw it out there before. But we shall see--I appreciate the thoughts.

Sorry, schlegal1, there are good places to eat but they tend to line up as 1) pricier, 2) chain, or 3) hole in the wall. We'll lake friends to a HITW but it's a different deal when dining with colleagues.

Another thought, Nawab. Quite decent Indian.

Surprised Fin doesn't have a veg option. Good to know -- thanks for the heads up.

Closer to Hampton than Williamsburg and enough choices for everyone :

The original is in Williamsburg but they've reopened their York County location .

The food isn't as good as Fin's but I think it will do. I'm sure they will be able to accommodate your group. It's right off 64. Where is your conference?

There are a lot of restaurants in Hampton but I just don't go down there often. Sorry.

We ended up at a place called Monsoon, about a mile from our hotel. Mid-priced Indian food. Ambiance wasn't there as it is in a shopping center but the food was incredible. Everyone was very happy with it!

Ok then, Monsoon. A super recommendation to add to the list -- many thanks, schlegal1!
