Need a "G"

Hi there. I am looking for some suggestions. A couple of my girlfriends and I get together once a year for a long weekend. To determine where we will go, we have decided to go through the alphabet. We are currently on "G". Any suggestions? We live in Pennsylvania and our main focus for the weekend is GIRL TIME.....rest, relax, chat, sip good wine and eat good food. We are planning for a weekend in early May.
We would appreciate any and all help! We are considering "G"eorgia (Savannah). Any other input?
Thanks in advance!

Lake "G"eneva, Wisconsin is another possible choice. Haven't been there in years but it was fun when I was there. "G"reenland will probably not fit your specifications (LOL).

G-reat Lakes opens up a bazillion very cool places. Kingston Ontario, Toronto, Niagara, Detroit, A little shipping and waterway G-reatlakes hitory excuse for G-irl time. Look into Kingston-frequent happenings like you describe.

Wholeheartedly agree with the suggestion for Grand Canyon but it sounds as if you are looking for a more urban area -- but maybe if you included Sedona in the mix for an evening, it could be interesting.

Here's another: Georgetown (Washington D.C.).

Too bad it isn't for a longer period of time because you could "Get your kicks on Route 66".

And I'm waiting to hear where you are going for "x"!

I like the Savannah Georgia idea and Georgetown, DC. Grand Bahama island is another idea

I was thinking Galena, IL, which is very nice, but if I had a choice, I'd go with Savannah, Georgia or Greenwich Village, NY
