National Parks Annual Pass

Hello everyone! We are leaving in just a few days for a 9 day road trip. I had planned to purchase this pass at our first stop, Zion NP but they are not collecting fees at this time. I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to purchase this pass in person prior to our trip? Our 2nd stop will be Grand Canyon NP and they are only doing automated services and it looks to be daily passes only. We will continue to Bryce NP as the final stop.

Thank you for any advice.
Jen

I looked on their website and it says that they are accepting receipts through July 31, so you can order it online for your trip!! Go to this website. There is also a link with physical sites where you can pay for the pass but this online purchase should be the easiest.

https://store.usgs.gov/pass

Please note that Interagency Passes will not be available for immediate download or printing. A physical pass will be shipped to you. Electronic scanned images of your pass are not valid for use. Due to the backlog created by the COVID-19 outbreak, receipts will be accepted through July 31, 2020. If you need your pass sooner please visit a site near you that distributes passes:

Thank You for this idea. I did not realize I could use my receipt as proof of purchase.

I just ordered one today, and plan to use the receipt to get into Mesa Verde next week, even though the pass won't be sent to us for another four weeks or so. I've printed the receipt as well as the NPS website page that states receipts are valid until July 31, just in case we encounter an employee who thinks otherwise.

Yeah that isn't normal but probably they have fewer people processing them due to COVID, and so many of the normal offices being closed.

Never mind, I see you are in Colorado, not California!
