Depends on what you wish to do. I assume you are doing things downtown...I suggest the new Hilton..I have not stayed there yet, but it looks very nice. I would also suggest the Rennasaince (sp?) downtown.
If you are in the "opryland
section...the only choice other than chaep chains in the Opryland Hotel.
If you are near Vanderbilt, there is a nice new Marriot or try the Loews Vanderbilt plaza. Vanderbilt is a good close alternative to staying downtown. Its either a hearty walk or a cheap cab.

If it's only going to be for 2 nights, I'd spring for Opryland. It's something else and it's w/i walking distance of Opry Mills, which has tons of stores and restaurants, and the Opry is close too.
