To be honest, I don't know what a "Philips digital photo frame" is, but probably your best bet would be Best Buy which is across from the Hollywood 20 cinemas off Airport Road, north of Pine Ridge. Or Circuit City which is near the intersection of Airport and Pine Ridge.

thanks, they are lovely, they hold 65 of your digital pictures & change every minute upwards, or as infrequently as you would like. My son bought one for my birthday & they are now getting more & more popular here, but are well over £120 for a decent one.

What's the going exchange rate if $200 is 'much cheaper' than 120-pounds.

I thought the exchange rate was about $1.85 to 1-pound, making 120-pounds $222 USA.

Also remember the electricity standards are different in the US vs. UK, do you really want to have converters in your home. And warranty is only for USA (and maybe Canada) use.

Wait for a sale and buy it at home.

Actually the current rate is more like 1.94 to the pound, so that makes the UK price more like $233 (actually, Diane said "well OVER 120 pounds, however). Of course, don't forget that there is a 6% tax on top of that $ 199 making it about $211.

The rate is currently $1.94 to the £1 & the photo frame is £129.99 on amazon & about £145 on the high st. I am not sure whether one bought in florida would work in the UK, so I will have to ask about dual voltage etc

£130 is $252.20 at $1.94 to £1.
In the US, the frame is $211 after FL sales tax.

To make a USA product work in UK, you'll def. will need an adapter (because electric plugs aren't the same in these two countries) and maybe a voltage converter.

It might not cost $41.2 to buy those, but remember warranty info. What if the product doesn't work when you get home? What if you fry the electronics because of voltage issues. Is that worth about £20 'savings'?

I'm about as cheap/frugal as they come, but I think you're being penny-wise, pound (hehe) foolish buying the frame in the USA.

Plus look at what amount you're allowed to bring back duty-free. I don't know the £/$ amount for you, but if you spend $200 on this frame, that's $200 you can't spend at the mall. Probably even better deals on clothes in the USA than electronics. Ok, the girl in me is coming out for that.
