Hi tobelah, I don't think you will have extremely hot weather and you could have some fog. I live on the other side of the mountains from Napa Valley. The last couple of days have been hot (in the 90's) but right now it is quite cool and very windy. And often the area can have fog (but not where I live as it is in a valley) over the 4th of July. You won't have rain etc. If you are worried about what clothes to pack I would pack for warmish weather but I would bring a jacket it case it gets cool.

It'll be hot.

Bring a light jacket/sweater for the nights and very early mornings.

I was in Napa last July (mid month) and it was over 90 degrees with no wind.

Plan on it being warm to hot (evening breezes are likely).

Bring layers. It can be quite hot or just mild, but most often it cools down in the evenings.

Looking at Yahoo weather, looks like temps in Napa will be mild the first week in July. Says mid to upper 70's, although I'm guessing it could get into the 80's by the 4th.
