Napa over Thanksgiving?

Am planning an anniversary trip and was wondering what the weather and crowds would be like in November in Napa/ Sonoma?
Thanks.

It could be raining and it does get mighty crisp in the valley in November.
That being said, the crowds will be lessened but you should still make your reservations in good time. The SF Fodors GTG is annually held in Yountville the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Thanks. Crisp weather - would that be about 60's? I assumed it may rain but will that detract from the trip? We want to relax, eat well and taste the different wines. Never been to wine country.
Also, what is "GTG"?

One of our favorite things to do is to spend a few days in Calistoga just prior to T-Day. Pam well described how the weather will generally be. Because of that, we love to get a room at one of the inns with hot tubs, two of which are the Calistoga Inn and the Roman Spa. For us, hot tubs in the cool or rainy weather are great. There are good restaurants, massage and (according to my wife)cute shops in Calistoga and even better restaurants, wine tasting and other fine things nearby.

It never seems to crowded to us and we always come home very relaxed. Again, I agree with Pam- make reservations.
