I just spoke to someone at La Residence and I've booked a king suite in the Cellar House. The entrance to the suite as well as the windows don't face toward the road and the bathroom/laundry facilities insulate the room because they are in the part of the building that does. I think the road noise won't be an issue.

You can't go wrong with Cyrus, French Laundry and Redd. My wife and I have been to all 3 in the last year.
Ubuntu was on Conde Nast Hot Restaurants/Tables for 2008. Its worth a visit as its a vegan restaurant which we always enjoy.
Other choices are Ad Hoc in Yountville and Terra in St Helena.
