As Scarlett says, they're both great. We had good tickets to O and bad tickets to Mystere, so we liked O better. I think it depends where you sit!

Have seen both several times and prefer Mystere. O is a little more artsy and the clown is a little boring between acts. Also there is more of a variety with acts with mystere as all of O's are water stunts. But I guess O is a little more classy and mystere more entertainig.

Common sense would tell me that O would be better because of the added element of water, but I liked Mystere better. I found it to be more entertaining than O.

I saw "O" this past weekend in Vegas. I saw Mystere about 3 years ago. I was told O was awesome. I thought it was good but I wasn't bowled over (could've been because I was exhausted!! Next time, I should go to the early show!)

B/t the 2, I believe Mystere is more entertaining. Some people say "O" is better.

Either way, you won't be disappointed.

There is a new one called "Zumanity" at MGM. From what I have read very adult oriented (read some nudity) but pretty spectacular as any of the Cirque shows are. It is also cheaper at $55 per seat instead of $100. Here is a web site that tells all:

I saw Zumanity last week. I really enjoyed it. Is has a burlesque element, but not in a tacky way. There is nudity (topless women), so you get to see cirque de soleil performers act provocatively. The bodies are beautiful, but they incorporate all types so that you never feel wow, my thighs are fat! We went to Zumanity because of the price and the special seating. It has regular theatre seats, love seats, and couches, with the price going up for each kind. We sat in the love seats, which are two connected theatre seats with no bar in between. They are under the balcony so when there was performance segment that involve being high up, you had to stretch to see, but it was fine. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house (maybe back balcony) as it is a very small & intimate theatre. You can bring drinks in. Although if you want to have adrink with you, bring it in from the hotel. if you buy in the theatre bar expect to pay more. Also, if you sit in the front couches expect to get attention. Honestly, I thought the show would be more risque - at least for my tastes, but in general I found it to be a class act. People of all sexual orientations will enjoy it. The have a live band that performs with the show with a talented woman singer. If you have any questions let know. I also posted a recent trip report I&II.

I have been to both of these shows as well as several other Cirque de Soleil shows. Having said that I would say if you have never seen a Cirque show you would probably prefer Mystere. It has all the classic elements that make them so unique. O seems to be a specialty show and might not be the best choice for a first experience.

Both are great! Enjoy.
