My search for the perfect...
...malasada ended today when I found Home Maid Cafe in Kihei and gobbled down two regular and two cream filled puffs of joy. Nothing will ever come close.

Did you buy a whole bag and share or did you hide the remainders for later?

My favorite malasada was last year on The Big Island at TEX Drive Inn in Honoka'a.

I told M I was going out for my walk, but actually drove into town and bought a bunch of them and surprised him. It is his birthday afterall.

Now it is off to lunch at Mama's!
