Patrick - Regarding the PL receipt that doesn't show the * level of your bid... it actually does.
I just used PL this weekend. If I go into my email inbox and get to the PL email, I click on the "Check Your Status" button.
A new window opens up, with my winning bid information. The top half of the page is the useless car rental add-on options, but half way down is
"Your Hotel Information"
Right next to the hotel name, there's clearly the # of *s shown.

yk, as I said, when I went back to my "previous trips" or previous bids, I do see that they classified the hotel as a 2 star.
What I was talking about that has apparently changed (since others agreed about this) is that nowhere on the actual email they sent you as a receipt for your hotel bid and stay is there a star rating. Trust me. I have mine right in front of me.

That's about what I figured. And since it will be Sunday morning about 8 or so, hopefully little traffic so better time. Again, the "humor" of all this is that I never would have bid that area, but stuck closer to the airport -- but since I was SURE I was bidding 2.5 stars and there are none in Coral Springs, I was pretty well convinced that I wouldn't get it. Oh well.
