Transportation options for family of 4 from Logan to Fenway area?
Hi,
My family, consisting of 4 adults, is visiting Boston beginning this upcoming weekend. They are flying into Logan from London, UK on Sunday.
They each have a suitcase and hand luggage, thus one taxi will not be sufficient to bring them to my home near Fenway.
As two taxis will cost ~$60 in total, I was wondering if there was any cheaper option that I could use. They do not want to use the subway/MBTA bus as that would involve changing trains/buses
Do you know of any shuttle service that would go from Logan to a hotel near Fenway or door to door? Does Zipcar can rent a minivan/large SUV? Any taxi companies/limo companies that are not overpriced that can help me with this?
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Andy

Are none of the taxis at Logan mini-vans? In Europe they are common and I would swear that I have seen them at Logan too. If so, one would just wait in the taxi line and tell the dispatcher that a mini-van is needed.

From the Logan website
"Station wagon and van taxicabs are entitled to an additional $5 fee if a passenger has excessive luggage, skis or boxes."
This would seem to make clear that some taxis are vans.
