Call a travel agent. They might be able to help. Log into some airline sites, they run specials all of the time. The bus runs there, too.

American Airlines has a website and we elected to have them send us weekly specials which come via # mail on Wed. Our most recent one has new college specials for internet users only.. they also have a contest for 6 free roundtrip tickets for college students to use. I had my daughter enter--thats for sure. Check it out. I used Alta Vista Search Engine to find it.

One more though-- try www.travelocity.com-supposed to have very low fares posted but not sure if intra-American or just European

sylvian- you are finding it expensive to go to Spokane because it is off the beaten airline paths. You might want to consider a much cheaper flight to Seattle and then rent a car. You would probably have to rent a car anyway if you love is at WSU. It's a pretty long drive from Seattle, but the are some nice things to see along the way. A car with unlimited mileage would probably cost you less in Seattle than in Spokane anyway.
