My Friend was killed in Lake Worth Help

Good Morning and God Bless You All.

I got a call from My Friends Daughter who told Me Her Mother Cindy Moffett was killed, shot 2 times at a Golf Pro shop She worked at in Lake Worth. I am Devastated, and Her Daughter wanted to spare Me the details due to the fact She thought it would haunt Me forever, well it's already started to haunt Me, and I have been online trying to find an article and info on this Horrible crime to a Beautiful Person who would have given even the lowest scum the shirt off Her back.
This awful tragedy happened March 23 2006. PLEASE if You could send Me any info regarding this it would be my Prayer awnsered.
Sincerely, Theresa from Detroit

I am also very sorry to hear about your loss.

I found this link: http://tinyurl.com/m2lyc

I did a search on "Cynthia Moffett" instead of "Cindy Moffett" in order to find the match.

Hello Theresa, I don't know how you can get more details, unless the local newspaper is online and there is access to past articles.

I am so very sorry for your loss and grief Theresa. Losing a dear friend is terrible, I still miss my friends that are no longer here with us. My prayers are with you and your dear friend Cindy. May she rest in peace.

Don't know if this is the same but here's a news story:

News report:
Slaying at golf course rattles retirement communityWEST LAKE WORTH, FL - A worker at the Fair Oaks pro shop is killed in what is believed to be a botched robbery. With two bullets bleeding the life from her, Cynthia Moffett staggered from her golf course pro shop Thursday evening and lurched into the night. She didn't make it far. Investigators say the 52-year-old pro shop worker collapsed and died just steps from the building, in sight of the fairways at the Forest Oaks Golf Club near Greenacres.

I'm so sorry you lost your friend, Theresa. Doing a websearch, I found a brief mention of it on a website that tracks deaths on the job. It's on this page but took me quite a while to find
http://spewingforth.blogspot.com/200...ekly-toll.html

It reads:

I'm sorry for all her relatives, friends and acquaintances.

Violence when it happens to you and yours leaves you forever different. But it sometimes helps to join a group of violence survivors, even if it is just for a short time.

I know how hard it is when you never get any resolution. It's hard in any case.

Do you have access to a group? In my area, there is a multi-use group called "Together We Cope." It may have a completely different name in FL.

Maybe her children already know of a group, and a Memorial gathering may help as well. Maybe you can organize one at the first anniversary- just to help her family along.

Oh My God, I can hardly type because of the tears running down my face. Thank You for all You Love and Sympathy. I don't know How Her Daughter will get through this! I have hardly slept since Monday and I just can't believe this has happened. I didn't think Lake Worth was a bad/crime area, but from what You all have sent it seems that area is not so great.

Thank You from the bottom of My Heart, and any more info would be appreciated.
