I do have it on my pull-down menu, so I did panic over nothing! Not the first time, but spending two hours on the phone with various "helpful" computer technicians never threw me over the edge. So much for my world problem...it's solved.

But I do agree login/permissions shouldn't be about your computer, rather tied to your Fodor's account (when you login from anywhere). You shouldn't have to have something bookmarked a Favorite to move around the forum.
