What wonderful places our books have gone.
In the past I would try to sell my books at used book stores. Most places wouldn't give more than a quarter and were very picky so now I donate back the books for the next library sale.
Some of my books have been on several vacations. I plan to read more than I do and the books return home unread, then head out on the next trip with high hopes of being read.

That's the true spirit of reading, ncgrrl, way to go. Selling is ok, I suppose, if one needs the money. Why not slip inside the book a stamped, self-addressed post card (to "resident") asking owners to jot down where they read the book and details, and mail it back to you. This would be one way to know where a favored book travelled.
