Musts in Vegas

My wife and I will be visiting Vegas for the first time In February. What must we see and do while we are there? Will be there for four days.

I recommend Mandalay Bay's Shark Reef. You walk through a glass tunnel inside of the aquarium so sharks swim all around you, up, down, side to side.

Warning if you have low blood sugar- There is usually a long wait so eat before you go - once you buy your tickets there is really no place to buy drinks or snacks until after you exit.

All of the "free" events at each casino: the bird sanctuary at the Flamingo, the erupting volcano and white tigers at the Mirage (though you can pay for the larger exhibit), the inside rainfall at Aladdin, there are two different animated shows at Caesars, visit "St. Mark's Square" at the Venetian, the pirate show at Treasure Island, the waves at Mandalay Bay, depending upon your hotel you may also receive a 2 for 1 ticket to ride to the top of the Eiffel Tower which provides a decent view. A lot of these things are cheesy or hokey, but definitely Las Vegas. You may also want to ask your taxi driver for suggestions -- that's where I usually find about these cheesy type things.

If you even remotely think that dolphins are neat, go see the dolphin habitat at the Mirage. It is truly amazing! If the day isn't too windy, the staff will let you play ball with the dolphins!

Be sure to see the Bellagio fountain at the first show of the day - 3PM, I believe, and then again after dark. It's a different musical selection at each show, every 1/2 hour.

The lion habitat in MGM is really cool & free. There is a glass-topped area where the lions are right above you.
