Magnolia and Queen Anne studios are expensive then you add parking on top. Renting a house can be 1700 a month or so but I have a couple thoughts. Check out Quorum Property Management here in Seattle for house rentals. Also, The Cedars on First Ave. is reasonable rent and a great location. I see you have corp. housing for a month. Actually, I'd walk downtown (first, second and third ave from Cedar to Lenora) and lower queen anne to see if there's an apartment in your price range. I've been here 9 years and lived in Belltown (fun), owned a condo in Queen Anne and now live in Magnolia. You can check out Elliot Bay Apartments, The Pinnacle, The Sydney, The McGuire, Fountain Court for downtown properties. This will give you an idea of cost. There are several quaint older buildings in lower queen anne that might be less pricey. They may not have a dishwasher or parking though. Good Luck, you'll find something.

See if you can find a copy of today's Seattle Times at an out-of-town news stand or a local library. This article,
