Mountain Lodge Telluride

Did someone ever booked at the Mountain Lodge at Telluride Colorado? We are a Belgian family and found this adress on the internet. It looks quite good and we are interested for next summer.

No, but we were in Telluride 4 years ago; the town, which is about 2 blocks long, seems pricey ($12 burgers, and up, mainly up).
If you go, take the train from Durango to Silverton & back. Also, check out the cliff dwelings at Mesa Verde National Park.If you rent a car, you're not THAT far (in US terms) from Grand Canyon, Zion, and Bryce National Parks.

I too am interested in learning if anyone has stayed here. I would like to go the bluegrass festival in Telluride next June and this place seems to have reasonably priced accommodations. Many other places are booked and very expensive during festival time. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I BOOKED A ROOM THERE FOR THE BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL IN JUNE. IT WAS THE ONLY PLACE I COULD FIND NEARBY. BECAREFUL I FOUND ROOMS IN OURAY THEY SAID THEY WERE 10 MILES NORTHEAST OF TELLURIDE BUT THE DRIVING DIRECTIONS I GOT WERE 50 MILES. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Telluride is gorgeous and worth a visit. I was there for the Bluegrass Festival and we camped out so I can't comment on the lodging but anything at the $100 - $125 per night rate during Bluegrass fest is probably a bargain as everything seems to sell out well in advance.

There are more reasonable food options than $12 burgers but they are limited and you won't find fast food places. If the address is not Telluride you can assume it's not close by. Reasonably priced sandwiches, pizza, soup and baked goods are available at Baked In Telluride - a must visit if you're in town. If you like cappuccinos or espresso try the Steaming Bean - they were the only place in town I tried that had really decent coffee and espresso.
