Looking to plan a spa trip with my mom in the not so distant future. We've been to The Golden Door spa already in CA. Does anyone have any recommendations for a week stay? We want to eat healthy good food, exercise, hike, be in the outdoors, and have awesome spa treatments and be pampered.

Red Mountain Spa in St.Geroge, Utah would fit your needs perfectly! I spent a week there with a bunch of girlfriends and it was really nice.

If you're still interest in CA, try The Oaks at Ojai in Ojai,CA about 2 hours out of L.A.. They serve healthy but tasty cuisine, have lots of exercise classes, daily morning walks depending on your fitness level and of course the all important pampering. The rooms I've stayed in were nothing fancy or luxurious, but good enough for the price. (All meals/"snacks" are plus classes are included. The pampering cost more.)

If you have stayed at the Golden Door and are looking for something on that level then try Miraval in Catalina Arizona (near Tucson). Check spafinder.com for reviews and information on spas. You can do a search based on the criteria that will make you happy.

Check out travelzoo.com, they are offering 2 spas in Napa this week as well as one that I am considering in Del Mar, amazing, amazing prices!!
