Most quiet place to stay in Boulder?

We're 70-somethings and not great sleepers, esp when we travel. Stayed at the Boulderado some years ago, and I don't remember it being very quiet. Are there other upscale places in the area where we'd be more assured of having peace and quiet? Thanks!

The St. Julien is a relatively new upscale hotel in Boulder, near the Pearl Street Mall. You might ask if they can assure you of having a quiet room. It's a very nice hotel.

Thanks, Maureen. I will probably do that-- except that the most recent posting on Trip Advisor certainly is cautionary.

I had to read that posting; it wouldn't phase me at all, every other review was 5 out of 5. I haven't stayed there, just eaten meals, but I love it.

Poss, we stayed at the Westin Westminster. It is 13 miles from downtown Boulder, but boy was it worth the short drive! Beautiful hotel, pool on top floor. I fell asleep on a deck chair one night, under the stars! The pool closed at 10, but the staff let me sleep until I woke up on my own! It is a Starwood propery, and the quality is always exceptional. It is in a largely-undeveloped area, but there is a mall with many places to eat just a short hop down the road. LOVED THIS HOTEL!!!!! Very quiet!
