If you've bungee jumped a zipline adventure will be a piece of cake. I'm usually game for anything but I whimped out when my husband and dad (in his 60s no less)went bungee jumping a few years back because I get motion sickness and was worried about that up and down and up and down at the end of the jump.
The zipline course had about nine "zips" and it honestly didn't seem all that high. It was fun, not scary at all for me, although one girl was very apprehensive on the first two lines. You don't go so fast that you can't get a good look around. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Oh, how I yearn to return! I took the molokini trip and should advise you that sometimes you do not make it out. In our trip we had to snorkel in a different area due to high seas. Take the early trip if you go as your chances of making it out are better in most cases. We rented a car and did day trips to the following: Haleakala crater, Iao needle, road to Hana, Kapalua and snorkeling that was great somewhere south of Kapalua right off the road through a jungle. Can someone tell me where I was?? As far a the luau, I highly recommend Old Lahaina. On many posts it is voted as the best in all the islands. I envy your trip! Have fun!

I have to disagree about biking down Haleakala. If you go for the sunrise tour, dressed warmly with blankets, enjoy coffee, hot chocolate, see the top after the sun comes up, then bike down. My whole family did this and they still talk about it several years later. It is NOT a thrill ride. The shortest rider is put in front and on our ride that was my wife who is not going to run over the guide!!! The bike group tours go down in 10 min intervals, have a guide in front and the van in the back. It is one of the few places in America where you can ride bike down 10,000 foot drop with almost no peddling, so you can enjoy the views and smells. We have been to haleakala sunrise on every trip to Maui and still find it one of those rare experiences. Biking down is something to do at least once. Downhill Maui, I think may have been our tour co.

So much great info.!!! Thank you, thank you! Can't wait to read your trip report Traveldiva! Roxy - I was thinking the same about Honolua Bay. We'll drive there another day. Definitely want to see it. It looks beautiful. Part of the fun to Molokini is the boat trip out and the bbq lunch. Reading everyone's replies is great!!! Can't wait to get there!
