moab hotel

We are looking for a hotel to stay in on our trip to Moab in June. We will be staying there for 5 nights and our budget would be $100-$150 a night, with fridge and convenient to walking around town. We were considering River Canyon Lodge but have read a lot of bad reviews (small rooms and bad experiences all together) Any help would be appreciated.

I HIGHLY recommend Cali Cochita B & B in Moab. It is a beautiful place, with the nicest owners and lots of interesting guests. They provide delish breakfast and you can use their fridge to keep things. It is an easy walk to town, only a couple of blocks away, but peaceful and serene. You won' regret this. It is within your budget too!

Tell David and Kim that Debi from Cortez CO sent you!

I have a trip report on it:

Hope this helps...

I have used both the Best Westerns. Good, standard motels. Nothing special, but good beds and large rooms.

We slept well after Arches touring, which is about all I wanted.

You MUST stay at the Dream Keeper Inn. It is fabulous. Amazing food, private rooms, wonderful service, the owners are incredible hosts and chefs for breakfast. They leave you alone! It is like you have the place to yourself, It is so quiet. Right near town and a lovely walk into town. We stayed 2 nights at Dreamkeeper and had to leave for Red Cliffs lodge since DK was booked for the next nights. We HATED Red cl.iffs. what a dump! Overpriced, dirty rooms, bad service, out so far away and inconvenient. I loved Dream Keeper. If you go to Zion and like Desert Pearl, you will LOVE Dreamkeeper. Just superb all the way around, great value, food, service, location. Skip Red Cliffs --- everyone. AWFUL! Enjoy. You will love it

p.s. they have fridge in room, little wetbar, supply ice for you if needed, bigger fridge use if needed, and the walk to town from the inn is lovely, right near a stream, just a few minute walk into town. secluded feeling, but near the center of it all...
