Mission Ranch

I am looking into having my wedding at Mission Ranch in Carmel. My fiance has been there and absolutely loved it. I have not, but completely trust his judgement. From what I've found the staff is wonderful and the prices are very comparable to what I've researched for here in Chicago. Has anyone had there wedding there? If so, can you please share more about it? Specifically about the outdoor ceremony and reception indoor/outdoor?

Nature: Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! The location and beauty of Mission Ranch is beautiful. Literally "just down the street" from the Carmel Mission the property is large and serene with expanse lawns and nice buildings. (I am assuming you have looked at their website.) I attended a wedding reception there about 15 years ago so I am afraid I can't remember exactly what was served... but the location is a ten IMHO! The reception I attended was indoors in a large room, which I remember had a large outside deck and it looked over the fields. (A lot may have changed since then.) I was at the Mission this past Novemeber for another wedding and we drove by the Ranch... still would like to stay there one of these trips! Good luck!

Yes, a lovely property. Besides that, I believe it is owned by Clint Eastwood <g>.

OHhhhhhhhhhh, man, I'm getting old!
I attended the reception at Mission Ranch after attending the wedding ceremony in a church in Carmel. More than 10 years ago!
At the time, NATURE, it was a great place for a reception. Can't comment today. My info is dated.
Is there something like THEKNOT.COM where you can get specific wedding info from past brides?

We live on the Monterey Peninsula. We go to the Mission Ranch frequently for dinner/drinks, etc.

The location is great. We have had local SF Bay Area friends have their kids weddings there with great results. Better book now. They are always busy.

Yep. Clint Eastwood owns the place and has done a great job with protecting the history of the area.

It's a lovely location--with the Santa Lucia Mountains and the ocean as a backdrop.
