There is so much of this on the internet that I always check www.snopes.com for verification. It's a web site devoted to debunking the junk and urban legends. They say this is a true story so keep your eyes out.

I've visited the website, and there's no doubt it's for real. And there are dozens of posted messages. This world is kinda bad at times, but I'd hope we hadn't sunk that low. It's worth a visit to see the picture ... you never know.

I checked the website because a decapitated child was found here in Kansas City last week, thought to be 3 or 4 years old. No one has reported a missing child and no one has claimed her. But that child is black so does not fit Jessica Koopmans.

They are checking to see if this might be a child who was kidnapped from Tacoma Washington two years ago when she was 2, but the parents say it is not the same child.

Anyway, this case is going to be on America's Most Wanted this Saturday if anyone cares to watch. The child has been nicknamed Precious Doe

Jessica Koopmans has been missing now since last Friday, May 4th.

Please, review this web page and memorize her photo. Maybe we are not too late and can return her safe to her family. If we are too late, and that well may be so, please post your encouragement to her family.

I cannot imagine how difficult it would be to deal with a child "stranger" abduction. I cannot imagine why someone would want to harm a child (or anyone for that matter). But, this is a serious concern. If Jessica is still alive, through the power of the internet, she could possibly be found. If everyone who reads this would "memorize" her photo, and if they saw a child who resembles her, she may be found unharmed.

Won't track it down, but before you respond to a missing child report on the internet, CHECK IT OUT FIRST! Many of the notices passed around on the net are hoaxes, i.e. urban legends.

I did go to snopes.com and snopes2.com and it said there was no match...also said someone was sending this website with a virus...and not to open it...something about Snow White and that virus that was going aound..it wiped out 2 people I know`s computer.....so is this really true or a scam...dnorrie please reply...if this is just to pass on a virus,God will get you for using this child..

As has been said before, there are a lot of sick people in this world. I am not one of them. The web page is for real and has been developed in conjuction with the city police. However, on the web page it does note that someone is sending something entirely different that has a virus. Visiting the web page does not cause problems and I have opened it many times. It sickens me that someone would use this tragedy to send viruses to people's computers. The hope is that in some of the messages there may be a clue. Also, as Lethbridge is so close to the US border there is a chance that Jessica has been taken there. So let's get that picture out.

It has been developed it appears in conjunction with the police to assist in finding this child. As Lethbridge is so close to the US border, there is a chance she has been taken across the border. So please, have a look at her photo on the web page and keep an "eye peeled" for her.

I just checked this out on snopes.com and there certainly is a match. Also, if I were intending to send a virus to anyone, I would not include my email address and name. So people, help us out.
