I didn't see anything on their website. If you are thinking of staying there I would call and ask and also figure it will be longer than they estimate.

I spoke with someone from the Mirage and she said that the pool would be closed through March...but would definitely be open in May (when we are planning to go) I'm not sure about the dolphin exhibit...I would call just to be sure.

Are you sure about the dolphin/tiger area ? I was there last month and though the pool was closed the dolphin habitat and secret garden were open.
To be sure, you can email or call the hotel.

These aren't LIVE animals are they???Oh, I hope not - disgusting!
I hope it's closed permanently.
If they're live, where on earth do you think they've put them while they're renovating?
Why ever would you use your dollars to support something like that???
Someone PLEASE tell me these aren't live animals we're talking about.

It's a ZOO Diana, calm down! There are not that many animals there at any rate, if they were renovating, I'm sure they'd put them in their enclosures that are off limits to the public. However, I was there a couple of years ago and it didn't look like it needed renovating. I'd call the hotel.

Oh, thanks, that makes me feel so much better.
I'm sure the dolphins enjoyed that 1000's of miles of dry transport just to be stuffed into a tiny enclosure and gawked at by a plethora of fat tourists yanking along screaming children.
What a shame. Sigh.

Why would the dolphins care if the tourists were fat or not?

I heard they put the dolphins in the jacuzzi suite and the tigers are chained up in the parking garage.
