Statia beat me to it! Miami is not a small town-- especially when you include Miami Beach (separate city), and its hotel prices vary according to season as well, so when were you planning this trip?

When? $150 in September on Miami beach will get you a nice hotel. $150 in Febuary on Miami Beach will get you the Roach Motel.

Could you please provide a little more information?

What are you shopping for?
What part of Miami are you staying?

those shoppers coming to miami..be carefull this time of year that is season for south florida...thieves know who the tourists are and lots of incidents in parking lots..dadeland is well known for that
