Forget MGM - you'll wait forever to check in, you'll have to walk acres across the Casino, and if your "good rate" is for the yucky Emerald Tower (which it probably is), you'll hate it. The place is just getting to be smarmy. Go for the Mirage - gorgeous pool area for relaxing and it's right in the middle of everything.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm thinking we'll probably go for the Mirage. Anything we shouldn't miss? or should stay away from!? Thanks

I wish that I could get a comparable rate to stay at the mirage when I go later this month. It is almost double the rates that I have gotten for TI and MGM.

Do a search for the word MISCELLANEOUS, and you will see a post titled, "Help with Vegas: Two days to see it all" in which there is a 2 Part post from me that lists many of the touristy things to do in Vegas.

Let me know if you have trouble finding it and i'll repost it or email it to you.
