Beth, I love Mendocino. I may be wrong, but I don't think it's a wine area. Maybe someone else has better info than me, though. It's a beautiful, artsy community. Lots of B&B's. We stayed at one that has a water tower converted into a room. It's a nice town to walk around in and shop in. Have fun.

Beth,
Try pillowpoints.com--they have some really nice b&b listings. Also, there are some fine wineries there--Parducci for one. I don't know if they have a tour and tasting. We stayed in a b&b there, but it was a bit too "rustic" to recommend (plus I don't remember the name.) The Mendocino area is really beautiful--there's lots of good hiking too, if you like that. Have a good trip.

Just South of Mendicino is the Albion River Inn - in Albion - which has been a great place for us. Basically upscale cottages along a cliff above the ocean. Also, excellent dining at the Farmhouse on site. Re: Wineries - there are plenty, especially as you take the roads back toward Ukiah - you should be able to get wine map of the area. Husch is an excellent choice.
