McLaurie - re hamptons
After years of asking questions about the Hamptons , we finally pulled the trigger and booked one of the cottages at EHPI for this summer. I really wanted to stay in town, but since we will be tarveling with our daughter, EHPI seemed to make the most sense.
i wanted to thank you for all your help and advice re the hamptons -- you really helped me out alot in the past and I am grateful for that!
If you have any further suggestions on any great dining spots in the area, I'd love to hear them. years ago, when i used to visit every summer, Nick and Tony's was all the rage. Is it still? Are there other along that line that are must dos? thank you!

Funny I just answered your other post before seeing this one. How old is your daughter? EHP is one of my favorite spots for lunch "on the deck." Yes, Nick & Toni's is known as Hollywood east. I've mentioned some other places in the other thread. If you like BBQ and ribs, Turtle Crossing is on the way to Amagansett from East Hampton. It tends to be very kid friendly with picnic tables outside.
