maui spa question

I'm looking for feedback on Honua Spa at Hotel Hana Maui and the spa at the Westin in Kaanapali. Trying to decide which to spa at on our visit next week. Thanks

Have not been to Honua, but friends of ours did a spa package and really enjoyed the four treatments they had there, especially the aquatic renewal. We visit in February and will be booking treatments there.

My husband and I had several treatments at the Westin Spa last month. The spa area is beautiful, big comfortable chairs, beautiful view looking at the ocean through large picture windows. Very serene and relaxing. The service is wonderful and the treatments (massage and pedicure) were excellent.

I know that at the Westin you can get massages outdoors in a grass thatch roof hut-like structure -- we could see if from our room. Don't worry, they use screens around the massage tables.

Hope this helps...

Thanks for the feedback. At least both of them get good reviews : ) I might just wait till I get there to book treatments. The Hotel Hana Maui sent me an email asking if I wanted to make a reservation so it got me thinking.

I hope the Grand Wailea hasn't spoiled me.

Bill, I'm jealous. I always like to go when the whales are there.

Aloha

I wouldn't wait to book an appointment, especially if you are going in a busy season. I heard ladies saying that they had a hard time getting appointments since they had not booked ahead. I would call and see what the spa themselves say as to how booked they are during the time of your stay.

Hope this helps...
