Maui - leaving in 3.5 weeks!

Hi -

We leave for Maui in a few weeks for our 14-night honeymoon. We are staying in my Aunt's condo for most of the stay in Wailea on Ulua beach. 3 other nights will be spent at the Hyatt on Kaanapali Beach.

My Aunt is there now and said MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS - as the more popular places told her they are booking up fast.

I know we will be receiving gift certificates to Nick's and Mamas and we also plan to go to Sorrentos. Anyone have any idea if I can email these places to make reservations? I know I can call but I thought it might be good to email so I have confirmation of my reservation in writing. May not be necessary - but it will also save me in toll calls.

Also - for the Old Lahaina luau - which we reserved months ago - I hear parking on Front Street is nutty. Does the luau have their own parking lot??

That is about it - thank you all for your valuable info - it has helped me a great deal in planning our trip!

Old Lahaina Luau, which is wonderful, has a parking lot. There's also a shopping center across the street and a plethora of taxis which service the attraction. Mama's has a website as do Nick's and Sarentos. Tri-star-restaurants.com for the latter two. I never got any response from them regarding reservations on Maui. Best wishes on your journeys.

The Old Lahaina Luau has it's own parking lot. Just follow the signs as you come into Lahaina from the Hyatt. We arrived early, parked, and spent time in the Cannery Mall across the street prior to the luau.
