Maui Kihei - Cheap Beachside Condo?
Does anybody have any tips on condos that are actually on the beach in Maui? I would love for it to be less than $100 and have A/C, but am a little flexible. Kihei is preferable, but would be open to other areas. Thanks!

Is there any reason why Kehei would be preferable? I would opt for more of the Lahaina/Napili/Kapalua side myself.
I know the Napili Sunset has a $99 poolside special. The complex itself is oceanfront.
Less than $100 a night, an oceanfront room will be nearly impossible.

You might luck out if you check out Maalaea Bay. This is about 10 minutes from Kihei towards Lahaina. There is the Maalaea Harbor and the Maui Ocean Center.
There are 9 Vacation rental properties right on the beach. 7 have a reef in front and 3 of the properties are on a sandy beach. They do have 1 bedroom condos that might be close to $100.00 a night depending on the time of year. You can check out many of the vacation rental web sites where owner's post their condos. It is cheaper to deal directly with an owner than the rental company. Many of the condos in Kihei are not on the beach. I would suggest you make sure they show lots of photos so you can see what their view is like and how close they really are to the beach. Do a search using "Maalaea Bay Condo's" and hopefully you can get a beachfront unit for close to $100/nt. Good Luck

Bello Realy http://www.bellomauivacations.com/De...aspx?PageID=49 has a studio condo in Village by the Sea in North Kihei for $85.00 high season, $75.00 low season. (Not affiliated - just found it while searching)
