Maui Experts - Restaurants That Sell Gift Cards/Certificates?

My brother-in-law lives on Maui, and we'd like to get him a gift card or certificate to a restaurant for Christmas. What would you all recommend? Ideally, this would be something I can purchase online or over the phone.

Thanks so much!

Lee Ann, I'm not what you'd call a "Maui expert" but we have visisted this restaurant on numerous occasions and it is one of our favorites. It gets good reviews here on Fodor's as well.

Thanks, bettyk and DebitNM! At least both of you have been to Maui - we haven't yet.

Lee Ann, we are going back to Maui next October and plan to eat at Hula Grill AND Mama's Fish House. Both are very good.

I think there is a Morton's Steak house on Maui - and they have some Holiday specials.

Actually - I don't think there is a Morton's on Maui - but there is a Ruth Chris - and Nick's fish house is also a fun place. There are also some other good Sushi places and Chinese places around the Lahaina/Kapalua area. Just google away if you have a particular type of food in mind for them.

Sansei is delicious. If he likes sushi, this would be a good choice. One in Kapalua and one in Kihei.

We loved the Maui Flatbread Co for wood-oven pizza and exotic cocktails in Paia. http://www.flatbreadcompany.com/FlatbreadMaui2010.html
