Maui Dive Shop report

Aloha! Just back from Maui! Spent a week south of Lahaina at Puamana, LOVED it.
Did the Drive to Hana - the waterfalls, Hamoa Beach, snorkeling at Molokini, top notch

Had an awesome time. 1000% better than we could have hoped. I just had to let everyone know how terrible my experience at Boss Frogs Dive shop in Lahaina was.

I had possibly the rudest store clerk ever - The WORST customer service possible and to top it off it turned out she was the MANAGER?!?!

The Aloha spirit is alive and well in Maui, just seems some are jaded from all the tourists and the lack of hapiness in their own lives.

Do not go to Boss Frogs Dive Shop in Lahaina, Maui.

Instead, Maui Dive Shop - 1st class all the way! Thanks to Tom at the Lahaina Cannery Mall location!

Mahalo for readin ;-)

I would like to caution the poster that there is a chain of stores on the island called "Maui Dive Shops" that are not Boss Frogs. We don't want people getting any misinformation.

Huh? Logandog ...

I believe Nomad789 has it right "Maui Dive Shop, Lahaina Cannery Mall location" ... can't get much more clear than that.

Aloha Nomad. We stayed at Puamana a couple of weeks ago and we loved it, too. Please describe your unit. We had 30-1 which was a one bedroom with loft and I am curious about other configurations.
Mahalo.

Cant really say enough about how much we liked our unit at Puamana. It was 87-4, a 2br/2bath that we shared with another couple. It was prefect. Totally updated inside with every possible convenience (cooler, stereo, plasic glassware for the pool) It had a loft on the second floor for the second bedroom, and a nice Lanai with private garden in back.
We really enjoyed the ocean-side pool after a hard day at the beach ;-) and the location! - it was close enough to Lahaina to make it convenient for Groceries, and to make our early snorkel trips, but felt miles away in terms of pace.

Yeah, just to clarify...
The Bad: Boss Frogs in Lahaina.
The Good: Maui Dive Shops (they have locations all over, but the one we went to was at the Lahaina Cannery)

Thanks, Nomad. It was a great pool to sit by at sunset. I definitely want to go back when the whales are around, I cannot imagine a more pleasant way to enjoy watching them. Mahalo.
