Metoo,
Our condo came with dish detergent, dish cloth, paper towels, cream & sugar, salt & pepper, coffee filters, sandwich bags, plastic wrap, garbage bags, laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, beach towels, and even a styrofoam cooler. But I think this is more than usual. I would double check with whomever you're renting from whether it is the private owner or property management. We purchased our own tea and coffee.

I've stayed at both Condo and Hotel in Maui, Whaler & Kahana Village on the Condo side, and Sheraton on the Hotel side. We loved our Whaler experience. It was close to shopping, activities and we were on the 10th floor so the beach noise didn't effect us. The Kahana village was chosen because we took teenagers on that trip and thought the Kaanapali beach too tempting for under 18's. We went out to dinner most nights and usually ate in for breakfast. Was nice to have coffee at home. There is a Safeway in Lahaina for smaller sizes than Costco has to offer and the price increase is relative to the islands.
Have a great trip.

SW, I'm curious about your Whaler experience. We were at the Westin and I was impressed with the exterior look of the Whaler. How old is the property. And how is the pool. I didn't get to see. it. Do they have the grills like Kaanapali Alli???
Any other Whaler info would be appreciated.
btw, we loved the Westin, having stayed there 3x, but I'm thinking of something for a longer term stay and the Whaler did come up. Thanks.
