Maui-Best Snorkeling Trip?

We are honeymooning in July and I'd like to know what tour company has the best snorkeling trip (i.e. best boat, food, drinks, snorkeling location)?

We booked a great snorkeling trip with the catamaran "Trilogy". great boat, great crew. there is also great snorkeling in front of the Sheraton on Kanapaali beach at a place called black rock. Vince

Hi Lisa, 2nd the Trilogy trip. The all day trip to Lanai is great. They feed you Bfst , lunch and a snack on the sail home. The beach on Lanai is beautiful. There is also a chance to snorkel with dolphins in Lanai if you're lucky.
My son is giving his older brother the Trilogy trip as a wedding present to be used on his honeymoon in September.

They have aweb site.

If your not into 'hugh' groups, like the Trilogy will be, try Dive & Sea out of Kihei. They have a maximum of 6 guest (some will be divers) and they go to Molokini, and usually stop at 'Turtle Town' on the way back. They serve a deli linch and are REAL nice people. I just like this boat because there are not a hugh amount of people. Much more intimate.

Although it was decidedly a large group, the Pride of Maui does quite a nice trip. We went to Molokini and Turtle Town. The guides were delightful and the bar-b-que was delicious.

I second the trilogy trip, even with the larger capacity boat. When I went, the day was overcast, so we only had about 18 people on the boat... suppose it depends on the weather and time of year. Not sure how it would be in summer (been there in winter both times). Molokini has very good snorkeling, but tends to get overrun. I did a "PADI discover scuba" there that was great.

Second daytrip to Lanai, highly recommended. Snorkeling okay (wasn't a great day for that when I went), beach bbq with the most wonderful fresh pineapple I've ever had. Interesting island tour--a lovely day.

I also did some snorkeling directly off Kaanapali Beach that was pretty good. Even saw a sea turtle very close to shore! I saw it as a sign I'd be back there soon, but it's been years now... *sigh*

Have a great time--Maui is wonderful!
